Jim Stearman has over 35 years of experience as a solo practitioner. His areas of expertise include general civil law disputes, business and commercial transactions (contracts, partnerships, corporations, LLCs, industrial agreements and general business-related matters and advice), real estate transactions (commercial, industrial, residential, landlord/tenant, non-disclosure issues, contract issues, title issues, and contract formation and breach), partnership law, corporate law, and enforcement of judgments and collections. He has also served as an arbitrator and mediator for local realtor associations since 1983, has served as a judge pro tem for the Orange County Superior Court from 1983 to 2004, has served on the Federal Settlement Officer Panel for U.S. District Court, Central District of California and is currently serving as a mediator and arbitrator on the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association since March 2001. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Stearman is also licensed as a real estate broker, a private investigator and a notary public.
